on my way...

Hi everyone...
This week has been full of excitement and full of activities. Since Sunday, which was stake conference (which was fabulous) I have thought of a lot and have seriously changed my feelings on a lot of things and have expanded my horizons.

Nathan has a bad ankle so is going to PT and is on workers comp this week but his employer (the school district) rocks and they are behind him and are helping him out in every way possible.

I had a bad day on Monday. I didn't feel well because I think that I stressed myself out so much over my homework that I stayed home and spent 10 hours that day doing it. I did well on it, 20/20 points, but I still killed myself over it.

I worked long hours the rest of the week to make up for the lost 10 hours. I helped train the new hires this week too. That was a blast. I love that. I want to be able to do that in a true employer setting. Employee training and development is just a dream for now that I want to make a reality within the next year.

Completing my masters will help me do that and I am so excited.

I want to have a graduation party the night of graduation in July so, I will. I will probably have it here at the house and swim and invite everyone that I know and can think of. It is going to be so much fun. More on that later.

Nathan went with the missionaries again this week and had a great time. The zone leader is in our ward and he is an awesome guy. The elders are doing a great job in the ward and they were seriously sent to this earth at this time to spread the gospel. While he was out, it gave me time to work on my team project for class and to watch CSI without any football interruption (don't get me wrong, football is exciting but there is more to life than, well.......Football).

Friday, we rented We are Marshall and oh my gosh...it made you laugh, it made you cry and it made you think of how grateful you should be for what little you have. I know that I did and it was awesome. We cleaned house on Saturday and I did more homework. We took the shower door off the bathtub in the front bathroom and it made a huge difference to the size of the bathroom. By taking off the door, it added at least 3 feet to the bathroom. It looks really good.
We cleaned it too from top to bottom.

Saturday night we rented Transformers which is such a good movie too. I was so tired from doing laundry, cleaning the bathroom (that I have never used) and changing it around to making it something that is usable and suitable for our family and guests; anyways, I was so tired that I think that I missed more than half the movie...thats OK...we can rent it again or just buy it later.

Today was fast and testimony meeting at church. It was nice. Relief Society was fabulous though. The spirit was there so strong and I felt so much joy as we talked about the purpose of prophets and apostles and the reason for following their counsel. It was fabulous.

Other than that...today was full of football (again) and Americas Home Show where they fix and/or rebuild a home for a family that is in desperate need for it. I love it...it is so touching and everyone can learn so much about service and being of a charitable nature to the rest of the world and our families.

More next week. Talk to you later.

I have tons of energy!! I sleep for 7 hours and I am ready for a 15 hour day. I love it.

Well, this past week has been busy. Christmas was exciting. We spent it up in Snowflake, Taylor, Showlow and Pinetop. There was snow and I wanted to see it and play in it so we drove up there and spent it with Darwin and Collette and her parents. We took Ka'le so that he could play in the snow and know that he has a great life down here in the valley. We saw "I am Legend" which is almost a horror movie which we don't recommend to see. We came back so that I could go back to work but didn't make it because Nathan had a terrible cough and ended up at the Dr. office for medicine and he has been healing since and I had it a little bit too.

We had a few friends over for new years from the ward and it was great fun. We had a good time. We played games and had food to share that everyone brought over.

I haven't had class for the past two weeks because the university provided a 2 week holiday so I haven't done any home work.

I have 1 week of my 12th class and 6 weeks of my 13th class and I'm done!! YIPPEE.

Kenji, my brother came from NJ to visit Nathan and myself. We had a great time. We honestly didn't do much and Kenji was just happy to be here and just do a little R&R. He said that he was happy to come because if was calm here and there isn't a lot of drama.

It has been very cold here and so for the first time last week I had to turn on the heater and today...ha, I snuck it off and won't need to turn it on again. It was set for 68 and that was just to stinkin' hot for us so we decided that we'd turn it off ;o)...OK...I decided that we'd turn it off.

I cleaned the swimming pool and the filter on Saturday to prepare for the spring and summer months and to make my life easier this spring for the beginning of swimming months!! I can't wait. I need a pool. I feel like a fish without water ;o)

I am tired. I need to get ready for bed and ready for this week. I made lemon pie from scratch and need to clean up the mess.

Be good everyone. Have a great week. I'll check back in a week.
