New 6 months

Well everyone, this is March 2, 2008 Nathan and I have been married for 6 months; wow how time has just flown by. Tomorrow I will turn in my final paper for my masters program and honestly, it hasn't really hit me yet that I am done. It probably will on Tuesday when I don't have an assignment that needs to be turned in.

I have been working on my Masters of Management program for 21 months and ironically, there are many things that have come to light and so many things have happened including Nathan!! I have been with my company for almost 3 years...it will be 3 years March 2008 also, I had major surgery that has drastically changed my life and I met my sweetheart all in this short time too.

This life is all about work and what we do with the time, talents and blessings we have been blessed with. I can't believe the awesome blessings that come from trying to be obedient and repentant and to those who choose the right. Its awesome.

Nathan was called to be the Tolleson Ward Mission Leader in February and it has been awesome to see the blessings come in to our home from this awesome responsibility already. We were called to be ward missionaries 1 month after moving in to the ward and that is where I currently am still following along. With me ending my program tomorrow, it couldn't have come at a better time.

I have also applied to be an corporate liaison for my organization too so we'll see what magic comes out of that too. My phone interview could have been better, I don't think that it was any good but we never know.

I am also going to be turning in my resume for management this week for my division. It is due Tuesday.

This last month our ward did baptisms for the dead and the blessings were awesome. 248 brothers and sisters had their work done and now it is up to the ward to do their endowments and sealings. It will be a great time for both sides of the veil. We had some awesome help from the singles ward that we left back in August and they came to assist us with the baptisms. Honestly, if it wasn't for them, we wouldn't have had the chance to get all the names done.

March is a busy month for me still even after finishing my program. I have plans to host a pampered chef party and to hopefully get a jump start on beginning to sell the products. I love the stuff so hopefully it goes somewhere. My sister in law sells it up in ID and my consultant lives in NJ. What a great way to network. I hear that a lot of people in my ward here just love it so that is an awesome sign!

Graduation is the 19th of July 2008 here in Phoenix. I will see some classmates that I have never met nor ever talked to other than doing so through class. I'll see and speak with my instructors that are from all across the country that I have never met as well. I can't wait. So, if anyone wants to come and be a part of it during the smoldering heat of July, feel free to. We have a small home but you are so welcome to come and visit.

Nathan and I have plans to go to Salt Lake City for General Conference. I have never been to the new conference center as it wasn't done when I left Utah in 2000 and he has been once so this is going to be our time to go together. While he is at priesthood session, my time will be spent at desert books!!!! Yahoo....wait, don't tell.

Today is my only nieces birthday, Tuesdays is Sharon (my sister) and next Sunday is Steven (a brother).

Nathan and I have changed the house around a little bit. I am giving up stuff that I have had for a while and it is taking every ounce of me to get rid of it because he says that he wants a home with both of our personalities in it, just not mine and just not his...well, the truth is, it is always going to be the way that the girl wants it because that is how it is...until she is like me and feels bad so then gets rid of all kinds of stuff. That is fine though, I needed to. My dad has been telling me for years to throw away stuff yet he still has stuff from when we were youngins. Maybe I've been thinking all of this time that I'll throw my stuff away when my dad does. That'll be the day ;o)

"Our house is beginning to look our our house instead of your house our my house" is what Nathan says. Its true. Everything in the house was mine because...well, it was my house and it fit me so now that we have begun to integrate things, the home looks more like us!

I have to fix up my final and get that turned in tomorrow so I will close for now. Thanks for reading and feel free to respond.
